CENTRAL GAUL. Uncertain tribe. Mid 1st century BC. Quinarius (Silver, 14 mm, 2.09 g, 4 h). Celticized beardless male head to right, with thick locks of hair. Rev. Celticized horse prancing right; above, bird to right, perching on mane; in exergue, pellet and dash design. DT 3628B. Very rare and beautifully toned. Struck somewhat off center with minor porosity and a few marks, otherwise, very fine.
